Nominate Someone You Know to Win this Free Car! Twenty independently owned NAPA Auto Care Centers of Central New York have teamed up to give away a renewed 2001 Chevy Malibu to a lucky person this summer.
Now through June 30, 2011, Syracuse area residents are encouraged to nominate a special person or family in need, whom they know, who deserves to win the vehicle. One lucky person will receive the car at an award ceremony on July 20, 2011 at a location to be announced. "For many of us, having a car in the driveway is taken for granted; but for someone truly in need, it can be a life changing event", said Aaron Smith District Manager, NAPA Syracuse. "What better way to give back to our community than with a car that represents each of our neighborhood repair shops."
Many NAPA AutoCare Centers took part in preparing the donated pre-owned car so that the vehicle would be in great shape for the giveaway, using quality auto parts donated by NAPA. Several AutoCare certified technicians volunteered their labor to perform tune up, air conditioning, brake and suspension maintenance. In addition, Nick Orso’s Body Shop and Moore’s Tire Sales joined the team to renew the car's exterior with a fresh coat of paint and a new set of Cooper Tires.
